Sales Policy

By placing a deposit or purchasing a goat from us, you indicate the acceptance of this policy.

*To reserve your kid with us, we ask that you please contact us first for reservation availability. Once availability has been confirmed, we require a $200 deposit to ensure your commitment. Reservations are made based on the order in which contact is made and deposits are received. Buyers will be notified of the birth of their kid and payment in full is due within 14 days of notification of birth. All deposits on cancelled reservations are non-refundable however in the event we are unable to fill your reservation or if the animal does not meet our standards of quality, your deposit may be transferred to another choice, carried over to the following year or refunded upon request. Kids that are born that have not been pre-reserved or out of juniors, will be offered first to buyers whose reservations could not be filled. A wait list is also available for those who do not want to commit with a deposit or on pairings with full reservations however no priority is given for names on the wait list.

*As the breeder, we reserve the right to refuse the sale of an adult or kid to anyone, for any reason, at any point in the transaction, in which case your deposit will be refunded.

*Bucklings must be picked up once they reached 8 weeks of age, NO exceptions. Doelings by 9-10 weeks of age. If doelings have not been picked up by 10 weeks, a fee of $2 a day will be charged for boarding.

*We are not responsible for the transportation of the goat, so please bring your own crate with clean, dry bedding and hay when you come up pick up your animal.

*If you are arranging ground transport the hauler must be approved by me. I will require the pen or crate size and timeline before I approve a hauler. If the hauler shows up and the pen or crate size is smaller then said and its too tight or is dirty I will decline to let them take the goat. In that case the buyer will be responsible for any cost/deposit arranged with the hauler so be sure to pick your hauler carefully. I will no longer allow ground transport (unless you are picking up yourself) for either kids or adults going out east so if you live in ON or farther east it will be by air only.

*If a goat is to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, including flight and shipping crate. We ship by Westjet out of Kelowna International Airport. We charge a $40 fee to cover the cost of gas to the airport and back. The buyer is also responsible for booking the flight at a mutually agreed upon date and time. The air line will take your credit card info at the time of booking and charge you accordingly once the animal is dropped off and checked in at cargo.

*Our goats are guaranteed healthy when they leave our farm but because we can not control the stress of transport/shipping and the animal's management or environment after it leaves our care, we can not offer further health guarantees.

* For bio-security reasons, we can not have goats return to our farm once they have left the property.

*We do our best with disbudding kids but we cannot guarantee that they will not develop scurs.

*We do not offer a height guarantee.

*All kids, with the exception of wethers, will be registered with the CLRC, tattooed, disbudded, dewormed, been on a coccidiosis prevention and had their hooves trimmed and before they leave for their new homes. Starting in 2021, we will no longer be vaccinating our kids and will be left to the buyer to vaccinate once they are in your care if you chose to do so.

*Please respect our farm bio-security. We do not allow farm visits. As much as we would love to have buyers come to see the goats, we have invested so much into our herd both financially and time that we just cant take the risk. For buyers who are picking up animals at the farm, we ask that you please remain on the driveway or wait at the gate and we will bring your animal to you.
