Sales Policy

By placing a deposit or purchasing a goat from us, you indicate the acceptance of this policy.

*We are no longer excepting names for a waiting list. Any available kids will be put up for sale on our Facebook page so be sure to follow us if you are interested in purchasing a kid. Preference will be given to homes that show, milk test or classify (except in the case of wethers or pets).

*We do not take deposits prior to kids being born. Once kids are born and we are in agreement with the sale, a 50% deposit is required to ensure your commitment. All deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due before the animal leaves the property.

*As the breeder, we reserve the right to refuse the sale of an adult or kid to anyone, for any reason, at any point in the transaction, in which case your deposit will be refunded.

*Bucklings must be picked up once they reached 8 weeks of age, NO exceptions. Doelings by 9-10 weeks of age. If doelings have not been picked up by 10 weeks, a fee of $2 a day will be charged for boarding. After 7 days, the sale and deposit will be forfeited unless other arrangements have been made and mutually agreed upon.

*We are not responsible for the transportation of the goat, so please bring your own crate with clean, dry bedding when you come up pick up your animal.

*If a goat is to be shipped, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, including flight and shipping crate. We can ship by Westjet or Air Canada out of Kelowna International Airport. We charge a $40 fee to cover the cost of gas to the airport and back. The buyer is also responsible for booking the flight at a mutually agreed upon date and time. The air line will take your credit card info at the time of booking and charge you accordingly once the animal is dropped off and checked in at cargo.

*Delivery or to meet a hauler in Vernon or Kelowna may be available depending on our schedule. A $20 fee to Vernon or $40 to Kelowna will be applied to cover the cost of gas.

*Our goats are guaranteed healthy when they leave our farm but because we can not control the stress of transport/shipping and the animal's management or environment after it leaves our care, we can not offer further health guarantees.

* For bio-security reasons, we can not have goats return to our farm once they have left the property.

*We do our best with disbudding kids but we cannot guarantee that they will not develop scurs.

*We do not offer a height guarantee.

*All kids, with the exception of wethers, will be registered with the CLRC, tattooed, disbudded, dewormed, been on a coccidiosis prevention and had their hooves trimmed and before they leave for their new homes. Starting in 2021, we will no longer be vaccinating our kids and will be left to the buyer to vaccinate once they are in your care if you chose to do so.
