We sold Rose as a kid and we will always regret not retaining her from the beginning. This doe freshened with a drop dead gorgeous mammary that blew me away. Even tho I never got to see her 1st freshening mammary in person, I could see from the pics her udder is well attached with a nice medial and teats that have lovely length, delineation and placement. She has one of the nicest mammary’s we have ever produced. On top of her beautiful mammary, she's developed into a stunning little dairy doe. She is long, level, sharp and angular throughout and has such soft loose dairy skin.

When she was offered back to me in 2023 after the breeder decided to sell her herd, words simply couldn’t describe how excited we were to bring her home. We had such big plans for this doe but our dreams of getting her into the show ring were quickly dashed when we got her home and realized there was an issue with her mammary. She was pregnant and had started to develop her 2nd freshening udder that was looking very lopsided. She had developed mastitis on the one side later into her 1st lactation. I was praying her udder would even out but when she kidded there was no milk on the one side. She only has one side of an udder which is so disappointing as she is now just a brood doe. Nevertheless I'm still happy to have her back as she should produce some outstanding offspring and I'm looking very forward to getting some daughters from her to retain.

Rose was on one day milk test in 2023 and shocked us with her production. Even tho it's just the ONE side of her udder that has milk, she still produced an amazing 3.61lbs and earner her Milk Star. She did incredible and we are so proud of her.
