Curl Creek GT Jazz It Up 4*M VG85

Jazz is out of one of my favourite does, Razzmatazz and is sure following in her footsteps. This little doe really impressed us with her 1st freshening with such as capacious mammary. She did an incredible 5lbs on her one day milk test making her the my most productive 1st freshener we've ever had. To top it off, she did that without much supplement. Jazz is a picky eater and we struggled getting the calories into her. She is getting a little better about not being so picky now that we are blending her grains she seems to like. 

 

Jazz's mammary is high, wide and tightly attached with loads of capacity. She has the softest udder texture and collapses down nicely after being milked out. Its been fun to watch this doe progress through her lactation. Her medial has really strengthened and her teats have plumped up.

She was also classified in 2023 and still did well considering she lost weight right before classifications. We had some bad feed that we didn't realize had mold until some of the does started acting off. Jazz went off feed for about a week and lost quite a bit of weight. We weren't going to have her classified but decided last minute to add her in. Her body condition score took a hit but she still did very well. We are looking so forward to seeing Jazz's 2nd freshening.
