Old Mountain Farm Talisman VG86

When I heard that Genevieve from Sweet Solstice Farm might be parting with Talisman after having him collected, I jump on the opportunity. I have been impressed with what I’ve been seeing in his daughters and the improvements he has been making, especially to teat size. One of the biggest complaints I hear about the Nigerian breed in Canada is their smaller teats so I’m thrilled to be able to add this guy to my buck line up in hopes to really increase teat size within my herd.

I have admire Talismans dam, Old Mountain farm LeeLoni 3*M VVEE89 for some time now. Check out her massive teats. According to her breeder, LeeLoni has wonderful dairy character and general appearance with very large plumb teats. She is a small, delicate feminine doe who has good length of body and a sharp tight front end with lovely straight front legs.

Talismans sire, Old Mountain Farm Magik Dragon VEE89 is half brother to the 2017 Spotlight Sale Buckling that sold for $10,400. His dam, Old Mountain Farm RainEDayWomN 2*M VEEE 90 is one of my favourite OMF does. According to her breeder she has consistently produces show quality offspring that exhibit grace and elegance. She has a perfectly shaped and attached capacious udder with well placed, sized and expressing teats.

I am so grateful for the opportunity and can’t thank Genevieve enough for allowing Talisman come to Curl Creek Farm. Looking very forward to getting him mid Sept and putting him to work this fall.
